Public Policy Research in East Africa Review & Analysis
In all democratic societies opinion polls play a central role in shaping national policy.It's quite suprising that a public offical like the vice president of Kenya can question the result of a scienctific study like the synovate opinion poll,sampling methods used in most opinion poll surveys to select respodents is radom and has been put under several hypothesis tests they have a low margin of error .When you cook rice you don't eat the whole pot to know it's ready you just taste it.An African Statesman like the Kenyan Vice President should not mix politics and science.
